OK, so you figure, it's been a month and a half since you got your hermit crabs, and it's time to clean out their cage.
but....HOW??????????
first, take all the extra shells out, and anything else that can be boiled. Boil them- not to much, but enough to kill
any little microorganism that want to make your crab aquarim their permanent residence.
Take your crabs out and put them in something, somewhere safe. Somewhere you can clean their aquarim, but still watch
them. If you're a teen or kid, get your Mom or dad to watch them(and probably, if you're burn-prone like me, to help with
the boiling) Take all the sand and wooden objects out- put them in a pan and BAKE them. Anything that is more FLMISEY plastic-
rinse under hothothotwater.
Take the aquarim and spray it down with a hose. Then, get cloth of some sort, get it sloppy with HOTHOT water, and scrub
the aqaruim out.
Let everything cool off, put the stuff back in there, and place your hermies in their now squeaky clean home, and watch
them run around!

MITES
mites are little bugs that you may find in your hermit crab aqaurim at some time. If you do, immediatly clean it, as
you would regularly. Just make sure that you also bathe your hermit crabs before putting them back in.
