HUMIDITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
humidity is possibly the most important thing with hermit crabs. They do not live in water, BUT they have gills. They
need air that is thick with mostrioure to be able to breathe. I recommend buying a spray bottle, spray the tank once a day,
give the hermit crabs a quick squirt. With most types of hermit crabs, they should be "bathed" once a week. Fill a small dish
with water, and let your hermit crab sit for a moment. Most active crabs will start crawling around in the water. Do not leave
them in there for over a minute and a half! They CAN drown if left in water to long. After bathing, let them run around
in something for a few minutes to dry. If you have smaller crabs, a shoebox lined with a handtowel works well.
humidity needs: 60-70 RELATIVE humidity- and a humidity gauge
temperature needs: 70-80 Fahrenheit

DIET
Hermit crabs need well-balanced diets, just like humans do. They will eat almost anything, but DO NOT GIVE THEM DAIRY
PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And try to avoid any seasonings such as salt, pepper, garlic, oils(if you cooked something
with vegtable oil, that's all right) sugar. They LOVE peanut butter, so try spreading that over whatever you're giving them.
it's also a good idea to give them commerical crab food. I use FMR land hermit crab food and I'm very happy with it.
I wouldn't suggest Tetra Terrafauna Hermit Crab Meal- it looks like plain dirt and my hermit crabs wouldn't touch it.
